Do not be fooled by the high rating and photos. Our experience at Lumea by the Sea was a nightmare.||1. Management: They tried to deny us a room we had already paid for and refused to answer the phone for Expedia support. The team owning and managing the property are not to be trusted. They lied us multiple times and tried to charge us again for the room we are already paid for in full||2. Cleanliness: We found bugs in the bathroom and the room was poorly maintained (exposed nails/screws). Multiple guests parties made complains while we were ‘trying’ to get our room. ||3. Accuracy: The property is significantly more run-down than the professional photos suggest. We stayed overnight before heading back home after our cruise. From reserving the room to departing everything was great. Location was perfect, coffee shop was a few steps, beach was within walking distance, food was walking distance also. Staff was great throughout the day and night. Parking was a bit challenging. Inside the rooms was nice and clean. Definitely would recommend this lovely place to anyone.

Very nice hotel. Unexpected to be up to par with one of those big brand hotels. Service was amazing very helpful staff. Plus it smelled really nice throughout the hotel. Rooms were great. Had everything we needed. Would recommend even if you're just staying for one night you won't be disappointed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Hotel Lumea by the Sea. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed. Every single team member was kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It has the perfect boutique luxury feel that is stylish, intimate, and thoughtfully designed. Everything was spotless and incredibly clean, which immediately put us at ease. It was also so quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind before heading out on our cruise the next day. We truly could not have picked a better spot to start our trip. Highly recommend if you are looking for a clean, serene, boutique luxury stay with exceptional service. We will definitely be back.
