Tides of Tops'l 1008 by Destin Getaways

We came spring break 2025 to enjoy the warm weather, the beach and lots of pickle ball. Unfortunately, someone who clearly wasn’t thinking decided it would be a good idea to redo the pickle ball courts so then they were unavailable. We and many others complained to see if it could be postponed but they didn’t listen to any of us. This place stinks!

We came springbreak 2025, and someone thought it would be a wise idea to resurface the pickleball courts during this super busy time We drove 16 hours to play pickleball and guess what...we can't. Now, have to drive and/or pay 😞

Low star rating is for the nearby beach. Condos at Tops’l Resorts Beach Manor are nice and some have an ocean view. While it’s located on the beach, it will take you about 5-7 mins to walk to the beach. When you arrive at the beach, you’ll be surprised at the MANY reserved areas for someone paying for the umbrellas and chairs. If you don’t pay, then you are forced to walk left or right a LONG distance past the reserved areas to setup your own area. Also, they won’t allow you to setup a small tent/umbrella with four sand filled corners (see photo). Your umbrella can only have a single rod in the middle, RIDICULOUS.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are very nice.
