Surfside Resort

Stay away, huge maintenance issues, one hot tub has been down multiple times in January, heated pool is down, plan was 2 months now going on 4. Maintenance crew is sluggish, no urgency at all. Elevator button to 14th is broke, has been for days, cannot get off on your floor. Told maintenance and has to call to get a button. Front desk help is worthless, oh, nothing we can do about it. They are out back on their phones, very unfriendly. STAY AWAY and find a better run place to stay. Jackhammers and saws running all day, even on Saturday and Sunday-yet nothing is finished or fixed.

This is our first time and it was above our expectations. we are completely satisfied with the facility and cleanness of the condo. we have great family time and we feel home away from home . The balcony view from 15th floor toward sea side was awesome.

Absolutely awful stay. Front desk staff should be fired—rude, miserable, and clearly hate their jobs. We waited over an hour past the 4pm check-in for dirty rooms, and this happened to others too.|Bathroom was tiny (3x3 ft) with no ventilation, shower drained horribly—we stood in pooled water daily. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner weren’t filled all the way. We got 6 towels and 2 trash bags for 4 adults staying 5 nights; no replacements, no room service, no help. Bring your own water, there’s no fountains and ice costs quarters. There’s a singular washer and dryer unit for over 300 rooms, and they tell you to wash towels yourselves, which also requires quarters.|Codes for the gates they gave us for beach/ bar/ building access worked maybe 1 out of 12 times. This is our third time at Surfside Resort. We typically like to book here because of the direct access to beach/pool. Upon arrival, there was no one working at the front desk on Monday 8/8 at 3:30-4 during check in time. With having our gate code and room code already sent, we let ourselves in our room. Two hours later my husband and I were showering when our kids (6&7) started screaming that some random man had entered our room. Frantically, we race out of the shower with soap on our bodies to find a tall, non American man standing at our doorway TO COLLECT AN A/C UNIT THEY WERE GOING TO TAKE TO ANOTHER ROOM. Two men showing up at our door and used the access code to ENTER OUR ROOM WITHOUT EVEN KNOCKING. My kids were horrified. I was scared! I reached out to management where they apologiz

Stayed in Surfside 503 after Christmas, condo was as advertised. Our 3rd day at the resort , the unit above us was doing construction with power tools that went on most of the day . The following day started out much the same. I reached out to Realjoy and they advised that they do not rent that unit and was unable to do anything about the noise. I assumed that to be the case. Again the unit is a 5 star and the resort as well with the exception mentioned. I would stay at this resort again.
