TownePlace Suites by Marriott Miramar Beach Destin

The staff were super helpful (especially Emily!) and prepared a surprise reception for my boyfriend’s birthday as I requested. Balloons, a dessert and a charcuterie board were set up in the room upon our arrival. The room was excellent. Comfortable bed, cold AC and very clean. Had everything we needed: kitchen was fully equipped. Excellent location, within walking distance to the beach. They were also quite helpful in helping us arrange an extra night stay. Will definitely come back and highly recommend!

We had an outstanding experience at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Miramar Beach, Florida. Upon entering the front door, we were greeted by a pleasantly clean smell, refreshments, and a welcoming staff member. Our room included two double beds, a closet, a TV, table and two chairs, a bathroom, and a well appointed kitchenette. It is a spacious room. The room was very well kept and maintained. Our brief stay included a tasty breakfast with the standard fixings. What made this experience highly satisfying were the friendly staff and the spacious, clean room. I have only three critiques. First, there is no gulf view. Second, there is no balcony. Third, you have to pay a $15 parking fee for outdoor parking. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel!

Lots of good, and several frustrations. The hotel is clean and new. Housekeeping refreshed the room daily. Breakfast and coffee is basic but fresh and satisfying. Just a five minute walk to the beach. Tip: request a room on the west side of the building for sunsets! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but you could tell that management gave them very little flexibility… Your Marriott status is meaningless at this property. You will not receive a room upgrade, you will pay $15 per day for parking including the day you arrive, and you will pay the full “up to $150” if you bring your dog even if he is a well mannered 20 lb. hypoallergenic AKC show dog. My room rate was $73 at booking, but after additional charges I paid $130 per night! Had I known that I probably would have shopped

Amazing location! I was here for a brief weekend stay and this has been by far one of my favorite Townplace Suites visits. The hotel is brand new, superbly clean, and very comfortable. The location is conveniently a block from the beach and just a five minute walk to get there. The guest rooms were cozy and the standard king room felt very spacious. Though the hotel seemed to be a newer build, the rooms were incredibly quiet. Sometimes with newer hotels I feel you can hear everything but to my surprise this was not the case here. The staff are exceptional, and Julian at the front desk went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed for my stay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable stay in Miramar beach!

Had an amazing stay here from start to finish. The property was clean, comfortable, and truly welcoming, but what made the experience stand out was the service. Kiana at the front desk was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of and completely at home. You can tell when someone truly cares, and she absolutely does. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay, this is definitely it. Highly recommend.
