Edgewater Resort by Ocean Reef

Edgewater Resort, Unit 408.We booked a 2 night stay thru Airbnb, (Superhost, Christina Elizabeth). When we arrived we found the unit to be filthy, outdated, poorly renovated and, worst of all, infested with roaches. When we turned down the bed to sleep, we found dark hairs all over the sheets. We then washed the sheets. Upon using the dryer we found a 1/2" lint covered screen. No wonder we had hair on the sheets. We notified the host of the unsanitary conditions and told her we were not going to use the second night, that we had been up until after midnight the night we stayed doing the sheets and that we requested a refund. Best beach experience Ever ! The Edgewater Condo in Miramar Beach has it All ! Two pools, hot tub, kiddie pool, food hut and a privately owned white sandy beach with volleyball net and full set umbrella included. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with plenty of room to play. A shuffle board court, playground, basketball court and barbecue pits with picnic benches are clean and full of family fun. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, always willing to help! My family has been coming here for thirty years and counting!!!

Our family has been traveling here for years. We’re exciting to see major refresh of building and grounds. Easy walk to beach, great beach set up on a PRIVATE beach. Great Health club. Easy walk to grocery store and several restaurants. Staff is there to handle any questions and issues. Unit is always clean and comfortable.

We had an amazing stay here! We stayed on the 16th floor, so we had a great view of the ocean. Its a short walk to the beach. The pools were never crowded. There is plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. Only downsides were our washer and dryer did not work and we didn't know you can't use your own tents on the beach. You have to rent from the resort. We have a young baby that can't lay on the chairs they offered, so the beach was a challenge during most of the day. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

We stayed in unit 1107 for our August 2025 family vacation & gender reveal party, and it was perfect!!! The furnishing and modern decor were top notch, view of the ocean was stunning, swimming pools hot tub were phenomenal, kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils, plates, bowls, coffee mugs, wine glasses, drink cups, pots pans, pizza rollers...Not to mention WinnDixie, CVS, and Chick-fil-A were a mere block away. It was the best family vacation for us, and BLUE is was. Thank you Edgewater!
