The Wick, Hudson, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Really enjoyed our stay at the wick! The building itself is lovely, the decor/vibe manages to maintain an element of the historic feel while adding a modern vibe simultaneously. It’s slightly tucked away which is nice, there’s not a ton of noise to contend with. The room was simple and elegant, really high ceilings and huge windows for natural light. We didn’t necessarily plan on having breakfast there everyday, but the food was delicious and the service was wonderful so we ended up eating there every morning for our whole stay. Loved the vibe of the place and would definitely stay again next time we’re in town.

What a lovely boutique hotel. It’s in a restored candle factory with high ceilings and a modern industrial vibe. The rooms are generously roomy, very clean and quiet. The staff is super attentive and accommodating. We did not try the restaurant, but the morning coffee was excellent. We love the location since it is very close to the train station for easy access. We stayed there two years ago during the pandemic and the staff could not have been nicer. The hotel is within walking distance to the restaurants and bars along the Hudson River, as well as the Antique Warehouse and the Brewery. You can easily walk to Warren Street, but you may want to have your car nearby for all of your purchases on Warren - so many shops. Overall a great experience at this hotel.

Lovely, quaint, and friendly. Very family friendly. I would stay here again. High marks for the front desk staff--very friendly and very helpful. I loved the history of the place but remember that with a historical site, the windows are drafty especially in December. |After dinner outside the hotel, we returned and played cards in the bar area and felt welcome and comfortable.|Within walking distance of main street shopping, train station, and view of the river.

My stay at The Wick was a wonderful one! I did happen to stay in one of the double-queen rooms in the basement, but it was a huge room with a large window still! It happened to also be my birthday during my stay and management left a birthday card in the room upon check in! Much appreciated and it was a great touch; which made the stay above average! The bartenders and front desk staff were great! Even though the cook didn’t show up the last morning we were there, so we didn’t get breakfast, the restaurant had a great selection for meals all throughout the day! I highly recommend a stay at The Wick and will most likely stay there again, if I am in the area!

We had an excellent stay at The Wick, Hudson, while attending a wedding at Basilica Hudson—an unbeatable location just a short walk away. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the ample parking behind the hotel was a major plus. Our group enjoyed hosting a welcome drinks gathering in the bar area on Friday evening, and we’d like to commend Kimberley for her outstanding service—she managed everything smoothly despite working solo. The guest rooms were clean and comfortable, though ADA access between floors could be clearer, and we didn’t immediately see designated handicap parking. Breakfast was adequate, but with Hudson’s fantastic local cafés nearby, there are plenty of great alternatives. Overall, The Wick offers a convenient, stylish, and welcoming stay close to Warren Street
