The Vue B&B

October brings a quiet vibe. It was an easy walk into downtown and a beautiful water front park. Our East room was perfect with easy access to a large and well appointed kitchen. The staff was very helpful when we arrived with a small problem. Enjoy the beauty all around!

😊: The Host was lovely and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The shared kitchen was great and plenty of choice for breakfast. The rooms were big enough with the main room, having a lovely view of the sea and mountains. Despite the things we weren't so keen on, we would recommend this as a great place to stay for the Host, location and comfort.. 😢: The configuration of the two bedroomed suite upstairs is a bit weird in that the living area is on an open landing and the shared bathroom is off the landing meaning that you have to be pretty friendly with those you are sharing with because there is no privacy on the way to the bathroom and you need to put your code into the bedroom door every time you've been to the bathroom which is not great during the night when

The Vue is perfectly placed to walk around Seward. Restaurants, bars, waterfront, and stores are all within 5-15 minutes walk. The scenery is spectacular. We stayed in the East room and had our own private porch/deck area. Views of the mountains and downtown were across the street. Spotlessly clean with a shared kitchen that is well-stocked to prepare your own meals. The owner met us upon arrival and was very informative and responsive to our needs. Thank you for providing some breakfast items (cereal, coffee, tea, half-half, orange juice), even though May is early season and the description clearly stated no breakfast until June :) We loved our stay and wished we had booked a longer time in Seward. We felt very comfortable and will definitely stay at The Vue on our next trip to Alaska.

shared kitchen. And thanks to a family who decided to hug the kitchen the entire night till it closed now I no longer have a place to eat dinner. Everything in town is closed around 9. Also if you were in the East Wing like I am you can hear every noise made in the kitchen. Post edit. On demand water heater so if others are using the hot water it will run cold. Also try to inquire about a refund all of my problems were dismissed after 12 hours of no contact from them they finally got a hold of me and we argued a little and so she threatened to sue me what a joke of a company...

I recently stayed at The Vue with six other members of my family, so we had the entire place to ourselves, and it was great! We came during Fourth of July week, when Seward is the busiest. The location was perfect, and just a quick walk to downtown for all the festivities going on. Rissi and her staff did an amazing job hosting us, answering questions about the area, and providing a fully stocked fridge with everything we could want for breakfast. Highly recommend visiting Seward and staying here!
