Resurrection Lodge on the Bay

What a great place to stay. Mr. Kendall was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Our room was great, bed very comfortable and the two ladies in the kitchen...fantastic, a delight to talk to. Breakfast was great, and when you arrive there are very good cookies for you. If we are ever in Seward again, this is the only place we will stay. The lodge is located a little ways out of town and super peaceful. The deck is amazing, you can watch the sea otters swimming around and watch the boats. Awesome.

Incredible!! Mr. Kendall and Ms. Michelle were fantastic, our room was fantastic, the ladies in the kitchen...fantastic! I cannot say enough great things about Mr. Kendall and how he went out of his way to accommodate my family! If I am ever in Seward again, this is the only place I will stay. The lodge is located just out of town and super peaceful. We had a three bedroom overlooking bay. I watched otters playing from the dining room table...breathtaking;)) I truly could sit on the porch all day to watch the wildlife.

We absolutely loved our stay at Resurrection Lodge on the Bay. Sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the deck watching the otters and seals was one of the highlights of our whole Alaska trip. I hope to stay here again soon! ||Location is great, right on the water, a little away from downtown, but close enough to go do whatever you want. Breakfast was great each day. ||Michelle and Kendall were great hosts, and even proactively offering us a better room for our family ahead of the trip when some other reservations shifted. ||We stayed in the three bedroom suite, which was clean and comfortable, with amazing views. The bathrooms and showers are quite small, but worked for what we needed.

I brought my parents to Alaska for their 50th anniversary, our stay at Resurrection Lodge on the Bay was the perfect place to kick off our adventures! My parents stayed in the Barn House and had the whole place to themselves (which I think is preferable) and I stayed in the yurt. We both had great views and beach access and enjoyed sitting on the main deck sharing adventure stories with other travelers. The views of the mountains and bay are incredible! The sheets on the bed were so comfortable and a delightful touch of luxury. The yurt was a unique experience that I really enjoyed. The barn house upper was great for my parents and they appreciated that they were the only ones there as the lower unit is also available to rent. Kendall and Michelle were warm and welcoming hosts. My husband and I were fortunate to get 2 rooms for ourselves and our adult kids for 3 nights. The rooms were very clean and comfy. One room had views of the bay. The hot breakfast was delicious and plenty of food to get the day started. The staff in the kitchen/dining area were so nice. The first day there we took the Major Marine Kenai Fjords 8 hour boat tour out of Seward and it didn’t disappoint!The next day we hiked Exit Glacier and then went to the Seward Sea Life Center. I would recommend both as well. The nights and early morning were spent on the deck taking in the scenery with a warm drink (there's hot beverages and cookies available until 8:00pm) or walking along the shore. There is a state park within walking distance of the lodge with some nice trails as well. We could have spe
