The Victorian Chama

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Victorian! Check-in was quick and efficient, and communication was excellent. Our hosts, Veronica and John, are kind, affable, worldly, and accommodating folks; they served up yummy breakfasts that worked for the vegetarian in our group and our carnivorous teenager as well. Their coffee gets top marks from our resident coffee snob, which is no small feat! Located at the north end of Chama, the B&B is conveniently located (we walked to the train and to many of our meals) in a quiet part of town. The cooler climate up in the mountains made it comfortable to sleep without air conditioning, though that was available if we needed it. Rail and history enthusiasts alike will drink in the amazing artifacts that decorate the place and John's accounts

Firstly. Thank you Veronica and John for a great stay.|We enjoyed talking with them and learning from John more about the C&T and US railroading in general. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable with very good amenities. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh and tasty. They have good parking and it is a 5 minute walk to the C&T depot and downtown Chama. A very enjoyable two night stay.

We enjoyed our stay of 3 nights at The Victorian, a very cozy and quiet B&B. John and Veronica are amazing hosts. They gave us local recommendations, and we had some delightful conversations. Breakfast was delicious and different each day, and the hosts would always consult us about the next day's menu to make sure it was something we liked. The personal touch really made The Victorian stand out from regular hotels. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chama.

Veronica and John run an excellent B&B in Chama, NM. I enjoyed my stay a great deal. The highlight for me was the food and conversation around the breakfast table. I'm looking forward to coming back!

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Victorian! A charming, beautiful, cozy, and comfortable place with the most delicious gourmet homemade breakfasts made with care and attention to detail. But the best part are the hosts, Veronica & John. Such friendly, warm, intelligent and welcoming people, and we loved our engaging conversations with them. We will definitely be back now that we have found our favorite spot to stay in Chama!
