The Stone Harbor Inn

The room was clean upon entry and smelled wonderful! We loved the kitchenette and used it. It came with dishes and utensils along with cookware and a coffee machine. Beds and pillows were super comfy! The cleaning staff are my favorite part. They are super friendly and I loved talking to them!!! This place is walkable to the beach and main town. Would come here again!

Very nice hotel. We stayed here for four nights over the Fourth of July weekend. You cannot beat this location. It was a quick two block walk to the beach and even shorter to get to local shopping and dining options. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was great! I have two quick tips for first time guests. It was a little tricky finding the office to check in. The Stone Harbor Inn shares an office with The Seaward Motel and the office is located in the middle of the two buildings. Also, there is a wonderful little parking lot behind the inn. Super convenient! We didn't see it at first but once we knew it was there we parked there every time. We really enjoyed our stay and if we travel back to the area we will stay here again!

I rate it a -2 out of 10! HORRIBLE customer service! Nancy at the front desk needs to be fired, she is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional! Our situation/stay was the worst we have ever experienced-UNACCEPTABLE!! We had to leave a day early because I had a medical emergency due to her not allowing me to bring my service animal. When I asked for my money back, she raised her voice, gave unacceptable attitude! The way she treated me is the worst I have ever experienced! She told to me I should have stayed else where! If you want a booming business you best find someone with compassion and understanding to run your motel/front desk!

Beside the location there is not a lot good to say about this place. Rooms are very small and the bathroom is tiny. The ac sounds like a thrashing machine and will keep you up all night. Very expensive for what you get. Can’t use the pool or hot tub after dark. They charge you $25 if you leave dirty dishes in the sink.

We stayed here 3 nights June 2024. The location is fantastic 2 blocks to beach 1 block to downtown. The weekend was beautiful and I confirmed with the desk they were sold out. I was concerned about parking. There were always spaces available for guests as there is a lot behind the hotel. ||At checkout, I asked when the hotel had been refreshed and they told me about 6 years ago. You would think it was 6 months ago. Everything looked brand new. The furniture was not shop worn at all and all the finishes looked like they had just been refreshed. The maintenance and upkeep here is top notch.||We had 2 double beds and it was a little tight. I am thinking a single King would be our next choice. ||Staff was great.||Tip: If you want the A/C fan to run constantly and the unit to work more consiste
