Great space! Had the queen bed parlor room. There is a sofa and chair for chillin’. Staff is very friendly, too. You are 2 blocks from the beach, and if you want umbrella/chair service, you need to walk a block or two over once on the beach. You get free beach tags, too—leave a cash deposit of $25’per tag. The room has a small frig, hair dryer and small coffee maker. If you want excellent coffee, you are in walking distance to many different cafes—all have great coffee (Cafe Noir, Coffee Talk and Fishin’ Pier Grill all have have great coffee and open around 7:00 am. Shopping, and good restaurants are all within walking distance. Highly recommend this place.

Love this place. Nice atmosphere. Nice people. Rooms old fashioned but beautiful. Walk to the beach and town.

Wonderful caring owners and staff. Great location only 1.5 blocks to an uncrowded beach on 93rd access. Nice easy walk to town where all the shops and restaurants are. We had a 2nd floor room (2 story) motel that a good size refrigerator, microwave, stove top with all the essentials needed like glassware, silverware etc. The cleaning staff were incredibly efficient as when we went out to get breakfast the room was cleaned when we got back each morning. There was also a shower outside to change after check out and gas firepit and nice chairs to relax. She provided free beach tags with a return deposit.

My husband and I have been staying here for several years now. The place is lovely, very clean and close to town and the beach. The staff is excellent, super accommodating and kind. We brought my son here for his first beach trip when he was six weeks old and they upgraded our room, giving us extra space. He’s now four and they still treat all of us very well. While most of the guests aren’t families with young kids, they are all nice and seemed to be amused by my son’s antics. :) Clearly, we are fans and highly recommend this place.

My family and I visited Stone Harbor for the first time and stayed at the Colonial Lodge. It was fantastic. The staff were super nice and the place was spotless. I wish I could give it more than five stars. It's a two minute walk from the beach and right around the corner from a stellar down town. Check it out, you won't regret it!!!
