We rented out the venue and rooms for our 100 person wedding on April 12th. The venue and rooms were very affordable and made for the most stunning pictures! Robin and her team do a lot to help with the wedding prep, day and are very flexible for pre wedding set up and post wedding clean up. If you want a good wedding venue, I highly recommend The Seasons B&B! It should be booked every weekend of April - everything is in bloom! I booked the Shakespeare Club next door for the reception, although it is big enough to do the ceremony and reception at The Seasons. The Seasons B&B is a great place to stay, particularly for anyone who seeks a quiet location that also is within walking distance to historic Placerville. Robin is a wonderful host(ess).||||We stayed at the Peach Cottage (once a chicken coop...which we never would have guessed, until she told us). The Cottage is clean and well-appointed for on-the-go travelers (very small TV, which we never turned on--small kitchen with small refrigerator--other amenities--comfortable bed--etc.). We had breakfast each morning on the Peach Cottage deck--wonderful, organic, fresh food that Robin brought directly to us. The location is ideal (on-the-street parking, which was safe and fine on the one-way street) and very peaceful and quiet. We were able to walk into town within 10 to 15 minutes.||||We definite

My family rented out all of the B&B cottages while we were in the area for a friend's wedding at the venue just next door, and I can't say enough good things about this place or the woman who runs it, Robin. The cottages were adorable with hand-painted scenes on the walls and beautiful antique furniture, all nestled within a beautifully landscaped cottage garden oasis. The breakfast was all homemade from scratch and so incredibly good and Robin is an wonderfully generous host. I would highly recommend this lovely B&B to anyone and encourage you to strike up a conversation with the proprietor who is a true delight.

Good to know: All money transactions are done with check. Deposit is paid by check in advance and by snail mail. That's different these days for sure. The owner/hostess has no email contact. You can contact by phone. Cottage was down about a dozen steps and in back yard of the 3 story 1800's home. There were 3 cottages. Nothing fancy. Everything looks, well, a little worn. I never went into the large home. I had a heavy piece of luggage which I had to carry down the steps because the owner was afraid it would chip the rock steps. That was a difficult task for me. I had at least 45# plus to lift plus a heavy little shoulder bag. The Claude Monet Cottage: Small, Victorian decor. Cute but very "cozy." Decor was worn. I love The Seasons. The hubs and I have stayed here twice now and it was nothing short of fabulous! The grounds around the bnb are enchanting, beautiful and tranquil. We stayed in the peach cottage both times. It has a little kitchen and is quite roomy-sleeps 3. The best part is the breakfast. Outstanding homemade quiche, probably the best I’ve ever had no kidding. Berry turnovers from Apple Hill and fresh coffee… So good! It’s also a very short walk in to Placerville Main Street where there are tons of cute shops and places to eat, wine tasting, good beer etc. We will definitely be back again and again. Oh and I almost forgot. The seasons is pet friendly. We were able to bring our two little dogs who loved staying there as well. If you’re going to Placerville make it a point to stay here…
