Hangtown Motel

I must have gotten the worst room to a no tell, motel. Shower curtain filthy, no soap, no TOILET PAPER, curtain fell off window. Stayed there a couple hours while AC repair being made at my house. Needed some AC which was cool and noisy. Sheets clean, manager nice. Paid big pet fee. What could pet have done to that dumpy room? I get a big chuckle at the experience

I found this place to be clean, quiet, & roomy. It sits on the edge of town. Well within walking distance of any store I needed. The liquor store is a stones throw away. Big plus for me🍺🍸. One of the coolest things there is the rate. Weekend, weekdays, & holidays don't matter it's the same rate. Also the cheapest in town I believe. The guy who works there. Daniel, is salt of the earth. Made things very comfortable for us. Would highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I lived here with our 12 year old son 7 years ago while our new house was in escrow. It is still the lowest price in town. Manager Stephanie has immensely improved this establishment with her professional hospitality and cleanliness standards. Motel could use some upgrades and more amenities.

The rooms are equiped with older furnishings, however they where comfortable clean. The staff (Dan at the front office) was extremely helpful and made our stay very comfortable.

I'm staying here right now. A little run down. Convenience store a block away. Nice management. Eccentric passers-by for scenery. Near Hwy 50 and 49. Good for a discreet get-away, weary travelers up or down the hill, not far from Red Hawk Casino. Call ahead
