The Davies Family Inn at Shadowridge Ranch

I had my wedding at the Davies Family Inn at Shadow Ridge Ranch and it was absolutely amazing! The place itself is gorgeous without any decoration. Linda was so great and easy to reach if we had any questions or concerns, and was very hands on during the reception. She was extremely helpful. The bartender Beka was so sweet and did an amazing job. Everyone absolutely loved her! The cabins were very clean and so cozy. Having everything all in one place for the wedding was so much less stress and Shadow Ridge Ranch was the best place to do it. I can’t thank them enough for making our day so beautiful, special and fun. The reception was a BLAST and we danced the night away. The way that the property is set up was perfect! I really want to gatekeep this spot bexause it was that beautiful this location and area! Me and my s/o went for two days and our stay was amazing! We want to go back soon! It was so peaceful! just fyi for the cabins they don't Really have a kitchen just the big main one, other than that it's all great! And for parking, idk if you can park all the way inside for all the cabins but for ours it was right upfront so we parked our car inside. Just need to close the gate at night and early morningish

We just came back from spending 2 nights at Betty's Cabin. The king size bed was very comfortable and the setting was beautiful and peaceful. The grounds are so well maintained and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. There was no TV, but we didn't mind as we had brought some good books to read in the evenings. The drive into Placerville was not too long and there was a good selection of restaurants there. They had some snacks waiting for us which were very nice. I love my coffee and next time I will take my own along with some cream. They did have a small coffee maker, but the coffee and creamer they provided was just okay.

I almost don’t want to write this review so this place could stay a secret. We come to the area a couple times a year for wine and apples and we always look for a room at Davies inn first. The price is unbeatable. Linda is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are clean with a nice fireplace for those colder nights. It’s the perfect rustic cabin vibe. It has AC for warmer months and heaters for colder months. The property is big with well kept gardens. We will stay here again and again every time we come to placerville.

Wow! This is such a a sleeper spot IMHO. The grounds, the cabins, just Wow!|We spent one night in the Carpenter cabin. What a great room, had everything we needed. |A basket of goodies with snacks was left for us👍|We utilized the onsite BBQ and just enjoyed the beautiful property. We had the place to ourselves which made it even more special. |Do not hesitate to stay here, just wonderful!
