The Sea Ranch Resort

stayed over the weekend. got there a little early no issues, we just went to the beach easy access from the office / rooms. my only reason for writing this review is because for 184.91 a night...my Ac should work and it didn't 70/75 degrees in my room the whole time. my toilet did not flush properly..also the back side elevator didn't work either did the ice machine! another big red flag!! while taking the ramp to the elevator you can smell a gas leak coming from the pool area!!!! the room was clean and the tv worked! don't know if i would return but better luck to someone else if you stay.

It was fantastic to be at the Sea Ranch again! It was our 5th stay here, but with a 5 year gap between our 4th visit and this one it was great to see that so many of the things we love about the Sea Ranch are still intact; a friendly, welcoming staff, both at the hotel and the oceanfront Bistro, unmatched oceanfront views from our room (see photos included), and all at such a great location. The hotel is minutes to Nags Head and Kitty Hawk, while still being tucked away on the quiet beachfront of OBX that we always crave. It’s evident that the staff at the Bistro takes great pride in their offerings. The food is so good that we consistently see locals dining and drinking there, which makes it even more enjoyable as travelers. We felt right at home instantly!

We visited for a 3 day getaway and couldn't be more pleased.... the view and proximity to the ocean was wonderful and for just us 2 the room was very spacious. I would totally recommend if you're main necessity is the location, view, space and cleanliness

Positive: Oceanfront Negative: We wanted our room cleaned and were told by girl at front desk that we have to request it 24 hrs prior. No info regarding this ridiculous policy was mentioned when we checked in. Also our cable did not work our last night due to wind, lobby tv was fine

Front desk agents were the biggest issue. They were not very informative. I called before booking & asked about the pet fee. I was told it was $40. After booking I called to confirm my pet friendly reservation and found out that the pet fee is actually $40 PER night. Then when checking in, I found out that taxes were also included. This all should’ve been communicated during my FIRST call. During my stay I asked them if they had a water fountain or vending machine I could get water from. Alexis said NO but turns out that there was a vending machine with water just a couple feet away from the front desk in the corner. When checking in I was told that the restaurant would be open till 10pm.I went for dinner at 7pm and they were closed early for unknown reasons. Next day Tuesday front desk sa
