Days Inn by Wyndham Kill Devil Hills Oceanfront - Wilbur

Great location to walk out the hotel to the beach. Stayed once in the summer and once in the winter, loved it both times. Most recently came on a cold weekend in January. Room was clean and warm as soon as we checked in. Beds are comfy and the shower head makes it feel like the water is hugging you. Every room has a covered balcony with seats and a table to relax outside. The staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast had delicious hot food.

Positive: It was located in Kill Devil Hills. Negative: No room available on 1st Floor and No Elevator. Water pressure extremely low. No safety bars in the shower.

This is how hospitality used to be before the guest was viewed with suspicion. This place is like staying with a relative who has a place at the beach. We referred to it like staying at Aunt Marge’s. Nothing to hang up in your car, but they have that information in the computer. No crazy password for WiFi. A little lemonade and packaged cookies in the foyer in the afternoon. An above average breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffle sticks, and some above average cinnamon raisin bread to make toast with. Even my gluten free daughter got enough to eat. |Throughout the building is beautiful wood trim and our room had old wood floors. So much better than the popping LPV. Our room was so clean, the beds and pillows comfortable and the A/C perfect. Nice hot showers with plenty of clean tow

It was one of the most charming hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The moment I entered this property I was greeted by Olga who was the manager. I asked her was it possible for an early check in and she said, “yes”. The room, which was assigned and ready was cozy with modern updates. The bed was firm and everything functioned perfectly. I only with the television was larger. The lobby area had a rustic look and the free breakfast was okay. I really enjoyed the complementary hot cider and cookies each evening. I plan to stay here again when I am back in the area. By the was the sunrise was beautiful from beach steps away for the hotel

The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. The lobby is very cozy with a large fireplace. Breakfast is included and they have a washer and dryer on site. You are just a few steps from the ocean and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.
