The Rialto Hotel

We really enjoyed the historical decor.Nice area and amazing street art. The size of the room we had was great, the beds were comfortable and they are dog friendly which is one of the reason we opted for this hotel. We stayed on a Wednesday night so many places dowontown were closed. It was really quiet except for the trains once in a while. Everything was fine until the next morning when we noticed a cockroach on the wall and then another one in the water compartment of the flat iron. We told the lady at check out who unfortunatly couldn't care less. Free breakfast was also very dissapointing.

Stepping into this hotel felt like entering an oldy-worldy world full of character and history. The place is filled with historic furniture and fascinating little hints about the building’s past life as an office — you can even tell who once occupied the rooms. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a big, comfortable bed.||The included hotel breakfast was simple, but the adjoining brunch café served a fabulous breakfast at a very reasonable price. What really stood out, though, was the hotel manager, who was utterly charming and made me feel genuinely welcome. A delightful stay from start to finish!

When I reserved a room we had no idea the hotel was part of Laredo's historic district. Building was built in 1925. It felt like we went back in history. It was awesome. And added feature is, it's supposedly *******. Along with other buildings in Laredo. We loved it, and will be back for sure.

Small rooms with a quaint atmosphere that reminded me of traveling through Europe years ago. The room was rather small, approximately 12x 18, but it was compact and well laid out. Simple light gray walls with white wood work trim, simple sophistication. Comfy full size bed partially tucked into a corner. Mini fridge, good TV service with cable. Desk and good size sink/vanity. Small but adequate shower that worked well. Nice people that run the place. Friendly and helpful. Very good parking in interior lot at rear of building. Felt quaint and safe in downtown Laredo.

Such beauty and history in one place!! My room was clean and comfortable the staff was amazing and so friendly!! I highly recommend staying in this enchanting building!!
