Staybridge Suites Laredo International Airport by IHG

Stopped in Laredo for one night during vacation. Front desk told me it was the last room available and offered it “discounted” at $219 (from $334) for a Tuesday night. Tired and needing rest, I accepted. I joined the IHG One Rewards program at check-in, expecting better service. When we got to the room, there was a bug on the bed, dirty utensils, and a broken shower head. Reported everything to the front desk that night and was told the manager would follow up in the morning. At checkout, I was told since I received a “discount,” all I would get was 5,000 loyalty points — no real apology or accountability. I later confirmed myself that most area hotels were booked with group events, which likely explains the high rate — but leisure guests shouldn’t be treated like second-class customers.

I liked the hotel, the only thing is that last night I say one cockroach under the air in the living room, I killed it no problem and in the bathroom between the WC an the bath there was another baby cockroach, Idk if was because of the rain and was the first floor, I'm not that special person but I'm telling this just like FYI, and check that issue with bugs, for other costumers Other than that, everything was excellent. I loved the room, totally I would stay there again 🫶🏻

My stay was extremely pleasant as per usual. I was greeted in a friendly and helpful manner at the front desk. Plus the application made it easy to book a room without any hassle. The room was very accommodating and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Front staff were very helpful....our shower leaked onto floor and they immediately upgraded us to an awesome room. Next we had trouble with our door key and the front staff fixed the problem right away. Irene from the breakfast staff was very helpful and assisted me immediately when I needed an item. ||We had an excellent experience here and we will continue to stay at this hotel every time we are in town.

Staff is mostly courteous and helpful. Recommend you do not take a room near the night club if you want a good night sleep. Social hour is nice but would be better if it included Thursday's and Friday's as well. Finally, I have had on multiple occasions, malfunctions on my room key card not letting me in the room. When your room is on the third floor, this becomes an inconvenience at best. I will, however, continue to stay at this location because the staff is friendly and courteous and the property is kept neat and clean. I am a business traveler who stays here once a month.
