Holiday Inn Express & Suites Laredo-Event Center Area by IHG

Overall, a great location surrounded by excellent restaurants. My only hiccup with this property is the TV size—it’s a 32-inch, which makes it a bit of a struggle to watch comfortably from the bed.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Laredo Event Center Area from February 19, 2025. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was very friendly, ensuring that I felt welcomed right away. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the variety of pillows to choose from. The hotel's amenities were great, especially the complimentary breakfast, which offered a good selection of hot and cold options. The location was also ideal, as it was close to the university which I needed to go to and various dining options, making it convenient for my plans. We stayed here while driving the Road To Nowhere. This was a great location for our needs. The hotel is under going renovations so I wont harp too much on the decor right now. The room was clean and the front desk was helpful. I think once the renovations are done the property will be even better.

Staff was awesome room was clean comfortable. I had to take two stars away due to the loudest elevator ever known to mankind. Make sure to request a room as far from the elevator as possible. When you pay the rate that you do, you expect peace and quiet somewhat it is a hotel. But everybody coming and going needs to use that elevator so it sounds like someone is opening and closing their door extremely loud.
