The Palomar Inn

I'm very impressed with this hotel! The location was great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable! They had a modern TV in the room which we loved. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was amazing too. We'll definitely be staying here again!

This has been the absolute worst experience in my entire life, considering I traveled extensively in Europe for 20 years it really takes the mick. I booked via booking.com and when arrived to check in, there was a lady who couldn't speak English at all. She kept showing me her mobile phone which didn't have a speaker on repeating "talk him". I couldn't hear the person and didn't know what is happening until the man on the phone shouted "get the f..k out of here". The lady couldn't communicate at all and I couldn't understand what was I to talk about. I was not comfortable to be using this lady's phone, potentially sharing my details with some stranger on the phone who could be anyone, in these days of scams everywhere I do try to be careful. I didn't know why I was asked to "talk him" when

Beautiful location. I love Shell Beach! The woman at the front desk does NOT speak English. Makes it very difficult to properly communicate. She had to call someone on her cell-phone multiple times just so we could have a conversation. The establishment charged me the full stay prior to checking in. This allowance was not previously given. This is classified as an unauthorized charge. When I asked the gentlemen (on the phone) about this, he said "well no one said we couldn't." What an odd thing to say. The room we stayed in was extremely small. Maybe for a single person driving through. The photo did not match the photo as advertised and room booked. The deadbolt on the door did NOT work. This is a major safety issue. Furthermore, the door did not close entirely. We didn't stay for o

Lovely room, so cute! Fridge, Keurig, microwave, HUGE flat screen smart TV, AC, little eating nook..... the bathroom is beautiful, hair dryer, crisp white linens, VERY CLEAN. Safe. Darling outdoor sitting area with a fire pit. Front office staff is kind. It only took a couple minutes from asking if they had availability to getting into a room. Coastal access is a super short walk with stunning views. Surrounding restaurants are excellent, warm friendly staff. Definitely will stay here every time.

Just spent a night at The Palomar Inn. I had a nice stay. Super comfy pillows, comfy bed. Clean and easy. Great location. It's a cozy kinda spot. If you're expecting something grand or opulent quarters, then you will be disappointed. This is minimal quarters, essential lodging with ease and comfort and the front desk is accommodating. So I say thank you....
