The Painted Cabin

The Painted Cabin in Guthrie, OK was the perfect place to stay with my family. My two kids loved climbing upstairs to the lofts and the thoughtful twin beds. The cabin may seem small, but with the thoughtful layout, it really optimizes every inch! Loved the laundry machines and the little kitchen, and how well it was outfitted! We also got to enjoy the cowboy pool this summer! It was nice with a 5yo and 8yo because it was wide enough for us to all lounge in, but short enough we didn't have to stress about unpacking life jackets (and pool noodles were provided)! The firepit was fun to do smores on too!!!

I have come back to this space over and over again since they opened— we love it ! It is so clean and tidy and cozy. Perfect for unwinding after a long week at work. I sometimes book the cabin for the weekend and get there after I finish teaching for the week. Not at all a bad drive from Tulsa . It’s super close to both OKC and Guthrie and the Starbucks is just around the corner a few miles. Tami and Rusty are such great hosts.

This is a great cozy cabin for friends and family to enjoy and have an amazing stay. The hosts are fantastic. We truly enjoyed our weekend getaway.
