La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Edmond

We typically stay at a LaQuinta so please don’t think this is a Ritz Carlton girl ragging on a La Quinta. We checked in and the agent behind the desk was exceptionally nice. We went to our room, and we were not the only guests. There were too many ladybugs and stink bugs to count in the space. There was also sand spurs on the floor. If you have ever stepped on one of these barefooted, you would understand my frustration at finding this in a room I walk around barefoot. I love the fact that the room has no carpet and has luxury vinyl plank, that always makes it feel clean. But the number of dead bugs and alive bugs stole the clean feeling away. I’ll sound a little picky in my post but really this hotel was good just a couple things they could work on. Double queen room was very spacious and clean. Everything worked as it should. There were some very light water spots on the ceiling from I assume a water leak from above at some time. There were some wires hanging from underneath the AC but it worked fine. The channel guides just need take. Out of the rooms as they are incorrect. What the guide said was ESPN was actually a movie channel that unfortunately had a full nude female scene when I turned it on. Little awkward with my two daughters in the room. Positive: The options of 2 queen beds, the price and proximity to our event Negative: The hotel is run down and not well maintained but the front desk staff was AWFUL! He created an error, tried to get us to pay for the room again, had me spend hours on the phone trying to correct his mistake and threatened us.

This hotel was great!! My room was huge and squeaky clean. Breakfast area was also nice. They had eggs (actually good and not dried and old like holiday inn) and biscuits and gravy as hot options. Room was quiet and did not have any fridge noises or loud heat/AC unit. Great experience here

I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire hotel was. The housekeeping team did an excellent job every day. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room had a cozy atmosphere. A perfect place for a restful getaway.
