The Nonantum Resort

This was our second year hosting our company employee retreat here, and once again it was an excellent experience. We stayed for two nights, and planning began well in advance—Ashley made the entire process seamless both years. The location is ideal, with an easy walk to shops and restaurants, or you can take advantage of the shuttle that runs throughout the day. The breakfast buffet exceeded everyone’s expectations, and the staff was friendly and welcoming across the board—from the bartenders and servers to the front desk team. I highly recommend the Nonantum Resort.

Very small bathroom with no counter space. Only mirrors are inside the bathroom making it very hard for more than one person to get ready at the same time. They should place a mirror outside the bathroom. Shower water pressure wasn’t great but there was a handheld head in addition to a rain type head which helped. Room was not very sound proof internally or externally, but there is a sound machine in the room and they will bring you a sleep kit upon request. HVAC was responsive once I figured out how to use it, which required being near the wall unit and pointing the remote at it to make it work. Elevator very slow but still nice to have as an option. Just stayed at the Nonantum with my husband and two kids and we had the best time! I highly recommend staying here. The staff was so kind to our kids and very accommodating. They had a crib ready in our room for our baby and even let us check in early so the kids could nap a bit once we got to Kennebunkport. The hotel has managed to maintain historic charm while keeping the facilities updated. We loved walking around the property and exploring. It's an easy walk into town. Also, the complimentary breakfast was delicious! Sometimes "included breakfasts" can be less than average, but this was not the case. It was obvious that the staff takes pride in their work and giving guests a wonderful experience. We look forward to staying here again sometime!

I would highly recommend this Hotel to everyone wanting an one-of-a-kind experience. We have stayed there before during last years Prelude. This year we went for the Fire and Ice weekend of Prelude. It was amazing. The decorations were amazing. The rooms are clean and beautifully appointed. The Pub is great. The food was great. The service by each and every employee was special. Very friendly and help ful. They made you seem like you are the only guest. It is family owned, so they offer that extra little touch. It is by far the best place we have stayed. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!!!😀

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Nonantum Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and attentive, ensuring we felt welcomed and well cared for. The property itself is charming, combining classic New England elegance with modern comfort. Our room was clean, beautifully decorated, and featured all the amenities we needed. Waking up to views of the water was a highlight — so peaceful and relaxing. The grounds are picturesque, with lovely gardens and outdoor seating areas perfect for strolling or just kicking back with a drink. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. We were just steps away from local shops, restaurants, and waterfront paths. It made exploring Kennebunkport easy and fun.
