The Lodge On The Cove

This is a cute campy property that is super kid-friendly and family oriented. It's a quick drive to town and the beaches. The pool, craft area, s'mores and movie nights are super cute. The rooms are fine - comfortable enough but humid and buggy since there are no door or window screens. Also our shower was totally clogged despite asking maintenance to fix it every day. The kids (4 and 6) loved it, and it was good for the phase of life we're in.

Lovely stay in the most adorable inn! The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. All of the little details (smore kits for the fire pits) made the difference. Room was spacious and clean!

Spur of the moment trip. Took a chance here. Room was spacious. Could use carpet. Free bike usage. Candy bar. Reasonable price restaurant. Free use of beach chairs. Call desk you can negotiate resort fees. They are listed and not hidden. Staff was great. Resort was clean.

The room was musty and no housekeeping showed up for the several days I was there. They have a coffee maker but no filters. Coffee made a mess. Staff was nice, but was overwhelmed when several people were in the lobby looking for food and things. Front desk was non-responsive throughout. We were a large group, were supposed to get a discount, and then the hotel refused. Poor business. So many nice places to stay in Maine. This is not one of them. Avoid.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Acadia National Park. The room was decent size and clean. It has a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Bathroom has two sets of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. As some others have noted, they only provide a thin blanket. We were ok since it wasn't too cold at night. As a matter of fact, we turned on the A/C, which was a bit noisy. They provide a very basic continental breakfast with bagel, cereals, yogurt and fruits. Would have been nice to prove a simple hot oatmeal or boiled eggs. On the positive side, they have two fire pits by the pool. You can grill your own s'mores. Great for family gatherings. They also have free bike to borrow so you can ride to downtown area.
