Cape Porpoise Motel

We booked this motel on the basis of reviews by previous guests, but unfortunately it fell far short of our expectations and we were very disappointed! On check in we found a note in the office, saying hosts were not available & we had to call them to obtain our room. Each morning (3 days) we went back to the office, & same note was insitu. We never did encounter the hosts nor anyone from housekeeping. Housekeeping was a token gesture, replacement towels & one morning we were left coffee & clean paper cups. I kind of expected more.....sorry!

We had our wedding in Cape Porpoise this weekend and we rented out the ENTIRE Cape Porpoise Motel for our family and friends from out of town, and we stayed there as well! John and Deb were the most AMAZING hosts! They had all of our rooms ready to go by Friday morning, they allowed us to put a tent up on the lawn and they made sure every detail was paid full attention! We had fire wood for the outdoor fireplace and they even bought more chairs for the tables and lawn to accommodate everyone. We had the whole place to ourselves for the entire weekend and everyone had the best time! If you’re planning a wedding or other event in the area, give John and Deb a call. They are true locals and the very best of hosts!

Absolutely wonderful people and staff, the owner went out of his way to help me with a project that was unrelated to the motel at all and overall this place is a minutes bike ride from most every necessity! Highly recommend if your passing through or just in the area!

We had such a nice stay at the Cape Porpoise motel, in Cape Porpise, Maine. It is such a clean little place. It is homie, comfortable beds, nice pillows, nice-sized refrigerator in the room, everything you need. Outside, they have grills to use, chairs to relax in, and a beautiful greeter cat named Salem, that visits your room and gives the best hugs. We loved this little place very much. It really is the pretty side of Kennebunkport. We already plan our trip back and we've only been gone 15 minutes. Deb and John, are the owners, and when you leave they will be your friend. They are just that nice of people. Do yourself a favor, and book here.

First time here and have stayed throughout south coastal Maine many times. We liked it . Nice location bout a mile from downtown kennebunkport and notably has the All Important Coffee options nearby! It's not a fancy place, more of an old school motel with 8 units i believe. Ice machine on premises. Our room was Clean and had a fridge, coffee maker, ac unit and bed was comfortable. We met the owners and they are super nice people who take pride in this facilty. Multiple restaurants and things to do in the area. If you are looking for a clean comfortable place to sleep, you won't do any better for this price point in the coastal Maine area .
