Ocean Woods Resort

Three adults and one child in the Condo apartment. All the amenities of a large apartment, close to all the services that Ocean Woods offers. The staff is super friendly, We all enjoyed the grounds as it was perfect for our youngster to play. The breakfast room was especially nice, and no better experience like waking up to the smell of fresh coffee. The upstairs restaurant is a pleasant experience, again for all of us. Nice walk to the beach as the beach was spotless and not crowded. Bottom line is Ocean Woods resort is a great place to have some good quality family time. We look forward to returning and hopefully with more family members.

The location was very nice. Close to everything yet just far away to be away from the crowds. Goose Neck Beach is just down the street which was really nice. We went down in the mornings to watch the sunrise. The complimentary breakfast was just right. I loved the cinnamon and blueberry scones. The place was quiet and the staff friendly. My only complaint would be the place itself could use some TLC and we were in a double queen room and one of the queen mattresses really should have been replaced. It was that bad. The other queen mattress you could see, feel and tell was newer. All in all a very nice stay and we would return.

We enjoyed our two nights at Ocean Woods. Very quiet, out of the way (about 3 mile drive to Kennebunkport). Nice peaceful frog pond. The proprietor (Kathleen) made wonderful warm scone both mornings. We had dinner upstairs in the casual restaurant. We were the only guests who choose to dine there, but the food and service were excellent. Room and rest of resort were spotlessly clean, if a little dated.

The owner, Kathleen, is very sweet and friendly. Free continental breakfast is awesome! Saves a lot of time and money. Room was comfortable. We had a microwave and refrigerator, ice machine down the hall, paperback books available, shower was fantastic - great water pressure, and it's a short drive into the village or a long walk (~ 1/2 mile) to Goose Rocks beach. We stayed in October so I can't say anything about the pool but it looked nice. I would definitely recopmmend.

This was a wonderful get away for off season. It was perfect weather for me but chilly for my friend and it's close enough to other amenities and far away enough to sleep in a quiet setting. We slept soundly. It could use some updating and black out curtains for morning sleepers. Definitely eat at the Pier 77 Restaurant. The Owner Kathleen suggested that place to us because she frequents that restaurant. The staff there are awesome and friendly! Amy, Kenny and Charlene were delightful. The Salmon Tartar was delicious and their clam chowder was one of the best I've tasted. And I go to the Newport Clam Festival every year. I had the split pea soup and they put nice chunks of ham in it. That was delicious also. I needed to get away and I am so glad I found Ocean Woods. The beach is close by a
