The Myriad Hotel Louisville, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

We visited the Myriad while Louisville was experiencing unseasonably cold weather and a litany of snow, which led to some interesting circumstances. That being said, the team at the Myriad was AMAZING! Margaret was a customer service superstar, going above and beyond to provide us with timely service and making sure we had what we need throughout our stay! The on-site amenities were great - the coffee at Switchboard was fresh and hot and the barista was super friendly! I would highly recommend this unique hotel to anyone visiting Louisville given the fantastic location, staff, and accommodations!

As a diamond member, I’ve stayed at a lot of Hiltons and love them but this hotel is so loud with sound from the street that, even with earplugs that I brought, there was no way to fall asleep until 3 in the morning when the street/bar noise died down. If you stay out until 3 in the morning, then it’s a great hotel lol. There was no blow dryer in the room so they had to bring me one, and there was no bath mat. For the price of the hotel, you might think there would be a bath mat. 🙃 Also, the staff was nice. Just don’t end up in a room that faces the street!

I travel quite a bit, and I can honestly say my time at the Myriad is one to remember for all the right reasons. The location was perfect for our New Year’s Eve activities in the Highlands area. The hotels history and attention to detail is impressive beyond belief. We were in a king room (#232) and the room was even better in person than any photo’s you might see of the property online. The Myriad staff left no detail unnoticed in our room. They execute their guest rooms to perfection. The staff members at the front desk and the attached Switchboard restaurant understand how to provide excellent customer service. If I could, I’d give the Myriad a 10 star review. We will absolutely be back. I highly recommend this hotel as it truly is a Hughlands area treasure.

I gave this three stars only because of my beginning experience however, my ending experience with Pamela is 10+ stars. My stay has not been at this hotel yet. I booked this room for my husband and my son as a gift. I called the same day because it was only showing my name on the reservation and spoke with a Margaret at the front desk. She claimed she was unable to change anything and also stated she could not find my reservation even though it was paid in full and I had the confirmation number. I called the next morning and spoke with Pamela. I cannot say enough good things about Pamela who helped my experience with the situation. In less than five minutes, she changed the info so that my husband could check in with my son. She had the best customer service that I’ve seen in a long time.

The hotel is in a great location, amazing staff and the food at Paseo was really good. The room was alright. Bed comfortable and restroom clean. My only issue is that the lighting in the room is not great and there is no desk. I had to prop my laptop on my legs on the bed to get work done. If there was a desk and better lighting, I would have given 5 stars. I wouldn’t mind staying here again if I didn’t have to do work.
