The Moose and Maple Lodge

Like most places in South Lake Tahoe, the outside doesn't look like much, but the inside of the rooms have been nicely renovated. We stayed in a family toom with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and it was great for my family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked and supplied with everything you need to cook on a stove top. 12 cup automatic coffee maker got our day started well. Appreciated the washing machine and dryer that was available to us as well. The pictures match reality. Great location, easy walk to gondala and parking lot available.

This lovely studio was a godsend after another property I'd booked turned out to be a disaster. The decor is inviting, there's plenty of space to hang up and dry clothes, and the electric fireplace provides ambiance and heat. There's also a small kitchen with stove/oven and microwave. I was able to cook quick meals. The masonry in the bathroom is exquisite. The property is located just two blocks from Heavenly Village. It's convenient in every way. I truly enjoyed my stay and will return again.

The Moose and Maple Lodge made my first visit to Tahoe truly enjoyable! The location cannot be beat as it’s right in the heart of the center of town, directly across from the Heavenly Village shopping center and ski lift. The rooms are not only cozy but provide everything you need to save money by cooking “at home.” The bathtubs are big and deep, perfect for a hot soak after cold days out on the slopes or trails. As an older building, it can be a little loud with upstairs neighbors so be aware if you’ve got kids or are a light sleeper. The staff is super responsive via text message and eager to provide anything you may need throughout your stay. The gift bag they left in the room for my dog blew me away too! Thank you for a comfortable and fun stay!

Great place to stay that is convenient to everything around! We stayed here with our young kids and parents. It had access to restaurants, shops, the casinos, the Target, and the slopes! The rooms and beds were comfy, the showers were hot, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing! Everything we needed for our stay!

The location is perfect and everything is walking distance shopping, bars, restaurants, and the gondola is super close. It’s such a cute cabin with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and super soft sheets. Has a desk in the bedroom also which was perfect when I had to work. It was ideal for everything we needed. 10/10 will be coming here again.
