The Maverick Resort

The location was perfect for us. The veiw watching sunrise was amazing. Condo was ok. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bedroom was on a scale 7 out of 10. Wasn't a fan of 1 ceiling light and no comforter on bed. The bathroom had a stale smell of mold and dated. Overall good place to stay at a low cost. Not a fan how it doubles when events are on.

I’m still here but have to write a review. This place goes above and beyond. Very nice rooms. Staff is great. We’re here for bike week and it is raining so they set out a bucket with clean rags and towels for us to wipe off and clean our bikes. Definitely will be coming back.

The best thing about this resort is that all rooms face the ocean. There is parking beneath and no trees beachfront so I would think all views would be good, but we were on the 6th floor so ours was definitely good. We were in the North tower, the opposite end from the pool area, so it was very quiet. The whole resort had a good vibe with lots of families and very little partying going on. So far as the unit itself was concerned, we had an efficiency. It had a sliding divider, but I really couldn't see how you would squeeze anymore people in there. The pull out sofa would block passage to the bathroom plus there wouldn't be room for luggage, beach stuff, etc. Maybe you could do it for a couple of nights. My strongest comment concerns the cleanliness of the unit. It wasn't bad, but

This place was great for the price! If you’re not expecting a fancy resort then you will be happy with your stay. I came in without high expectations due to the price of the stay with what looked like a great view of the ocean. I was thoroughly surprised with my stay. Sharon at the front desk was amazing. It’s undergoing a bit of maintenance and only one elevator is in service at the moment but it really didn’t affect our stay at all as we came in January and the hotel wasn’t busy. Room was cleaner than our other hotels we stayed at and paid much more money for, but weren’t absolutely spotless. Overall I’m very happy with the hotel for the cost of it.

Very happy with this resort on vacation. Of course there are some things that could improve, but the view was what landed it as a five star from me (on the 7th floor). Few things to note: 1. Housekeeping does not stop by daily, may be important to know. 2. If you order anything, you have to retrieve it. 3. The AC does not get hot which shouldn't be too much of an issue but important to know if you visit during cold months (plus it could have just been my room).
