Ocean Mist Motel

A great mom and pop Style hotel across the street from the ocean surf shop and a haircut place next door on one side and a gas station on the other... what dreams are made of

Loved the place. Originally booked for 2 nights and ended up there a week. Chuck was so professional and courteous, considering it was nearly 3 am when we contacted him to help us with a room. I'm trying to stay here again and the only difficulties I'm having is contacting them to reserve a room. I won't stay anywhere else!

If your looking for a place to stay near Ormond this is the place. My daughter and I had originally booked at another hotel but when we arrived our reservation was cancelled. After a 14 hour drive we were ready to put our feet up. After the frustration of the cancellation we scouted the area hoping to find a vacancy near the ocean. We stopped at Ocean Mist hoping to find a room. The owner Chuck took us right in and spoke to us as if he had known us our whole lives. He was friendly, personable, and down to earth. The rate was cheaper than our original hotel which was a bonus, and we were checked in, settled, and at the beach within 15 minutes of arrival. My family and I have stayed at this motel for the past two summers and we love it. It is clean, quiet, cozy, and very family oriented. The manager, Chuck, is awesome and was very accommodating. He makes you feel like family when you stay at Ocean Mist. The parking is very easy -- you can park right outside of your room. There is also an amazing sun deck with beautiful views of the ocean. We were right across the road from the beach -- very easy walk to the ocean. Our room had a full size kitchen so we were able to walk to the beach in the mornings, eat lunch in our room, and walk back to the beach. The motel is pet friendly, so we were able to bring our small dogs with us. The price is very reasonable and I can't say enough wonderful things about this motel or the manager. We are a

A client needed to take her "hospital bed" with her while she was receiving assistance for a new home for FREE. In order to accommodate her needs I reached out to a business associate that I have done business with for over 25 years knowing his compassion and willingness to help others. (No other facility would allow the "hospital bed" to be with the client) Chuck at Ocean Mist, once again, agreed to accommodate this person without hesitation. ||Prior to arranging the long term stay the client had the opportunity to view the brochure on line and ask questions.
