Georgian Inn Beach Club

Not that great, its redeeming feature is its location. The hotel itself is somewhat dated. The staff have been great. Beyond that don’t expect much! The room facilities could be improved by supplying shampoo, yes, it’s the only hotel I have ever stayed in where there’s no shampoo in the bathroom. Also, there’s a coffee machine in the room but no starter kit. You have to bring your own coffee. There was a cold spell the day we checked in and the heater/air conditioning didn’t not support heat. We were freezing all night. Would I recommend it, well it depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re expecting a Marriott type of hotel, you’ll be disappointed. If you’re expecting a motel, you’ll be delighted.

I would like to first mention that this hotel is located right on the beach. I mean, walk out the door and your can put your toes in the sand. As far as the room, well it was a bit of a hodge podge of things. I would say the best way to describe it is to think of your aunt and uncles basement family room type of furniture from the 1990's. They offer a nice pool area, obviously in January we were not taking advantage of that, but in the spring and summer months that would be nice for guest use. They offer a rooftop area for a great view of the water and beach areas as well. For $168.00 in total for the night, it wasn't bad. If you like locally owned, and you don't mind things being a bit worn, this might be the beachside hotel for you. If you are a bit more Mariott or Hilton Hotels m

We stayed in an ocean front apartment. The apartment (with a full kitchen) was great. The ocean front balcony was heaven. Lyndon, the concierge, went above and beyond helping us with information about tourism and the surrounding areas. As an unexpected bonus, we even got to witness a rocket launch, thanks to info from Lyndon!

Don’t let first impressions fool you. It’s much better than it looks. The check in area is somewhat dark and uninspiring. But the rooms facing the ocean are nice and the staff, particularly on the front desk, are really good and helpful.

Georgian Inn has direct access to the beach,the rooms are clean and beautiful. You can sit on the balcony and watch the nost stunning sunrises. You are in walking distance to many different restaurants. The Georgian Inn offers a small gym to help work off the calories from all the restaurants in walking distance they also have a hottub and a beautiful pool deck with stairs down to the beach you can sit under the umbrellas and watch the beautiful waves .I travel every year to the Georgian Inn I just can't get enough of those sunrises
