Traders Inn Beach Club

Place needs an overhaul. Musty/mold and noise starts between 7-7:30am on first floor. Broken bed and we paid to sleep here!!! Slept one night out of 9 after I figured out boxspring was broken and maintenance made it tolerable.The mattress was sinking because there was no center support in the bedframe for the boxspring. At first I was told to get a mattress pad. They made NO adjustments to my bill for this. Someone knew bed was broken because the covering for the bottom was off and boxspring broken wood slats improperly “fixed” with brackets . Then they charged me for another night even though we left. This was not a vacation and I am a Floridian. I would NEVER send anyone here. What an awful experience.

This will be a honest review. We booked this hotel because we were looking for something close to the Daytona International Speedway for the Daytona 500 weekend. Beware of extra fees. We booked through Expedia. They say you can check in early but with a 20 dollar fee. I went ahead and paid it. When we got there the parking lot was half full and it stayed half full the whole weekend. The room was okay. It was definitely outdated. The tv is only in the living room area. They could add a tv to the other bedroom. Also there is no dishwasher in the room and you have to wash dishes before you leave. The shower was not the best either because during it, it would go from hot to cold and if you put a little cold it would go from super cold and then back super hot. This happens multiple times. Al

The complex is older but well maintained. Our suite had a well stocked kitchenette and a beautiful ocean view as promised. Check in was easy, staff friendly. Pool and grounds were spotless. Close to Publix and places to eat. We walked. Highly recommend & enjoy the old Floridian vibe!

Was a surprisingly nice place. Found it by luck and am not disappointed. Front desk help was amazing. The room was very clean and comfy. The view is amazing. Many things within walking distance. Will be returning again soon and would recommend to others.

Rooms were very adequate for the price that I paid. The price changes a lot depending on demand, but so do the surrounding places. Very nice to have kitchen and utensils. I had young kids with me (4yrs, 3 yrs and 10 months) the beach and pool is what I was looking for and this place impressed! Staff was welcoming but very much stick to the rules (which I totally understand and not upset by). When I turned in the keys for check out I asked about my kids getting a swim in before we left. The answer was that I could pay $45 for a late check out. It was 65 degrees out and my kids are young, they maybe would have lasted 1.5 hrs. They did let us swim until the check out time of 10am. So we did get a 40min swim. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.
