What a great place to stay. We were blown away with the views of the park when we first arrived. The yurts are so beautiful and truly allow you to enjoy the beauty of far west Texas while still having a luxury place to stay. We stayed during a full moon and being able to look up at the stars and moon during our stay while lying in bed was wonderful. Every detail is thought out. What a wonderful place to relax and really be able to take a breath of fresh air. This place is just fantastic!

Loved every minute of it! This place was a wonderful experience and I will never forget it! Do not hesitate to book this place! It is minutes from Big Bend. The view is beyond what words can describe! The owners did a great job of creating this wonderful, secluded place where you can get away from it all. The modern western decor was very aesthetic and the place was very well kept. It was so fun to check out the moon with the telescope! We had a blast!

The Local Chapter, Big Bend is by far the best place to stay in west Texas. I’ve been coming here with my family for many years and have stayed everywhere possible. The service, quality, beds, bathrooms, ambiance, location, etc is nothing short of ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️. You can tell these owners have put their heart and souls into making it the best possible experience for their guests! WE LOVE THIS PLACE! Can’t wait to get back! We just made our 4th visit to the Local Chapter and had the most unbelievable time once again! The yurts are unique, very contemporary, very clean, safe, and include lots of comforts such as robes, high end linens, and lots of other details. But the unobstructed views of Big Bend National Park from the elevated mesa are what really set this place apart! Having a cup of coffee on the porch each morning enjoying the desert mountain views with no traffic or other ambient noise is welcome relief for those of us from the city! Would highly recommend a thousand times over.
