Stardust Big Bend

Stardust Big Bend is incredible. The accommodations are high quality and the service was great. We were in A-frame #10 and the morning sunrises out the bedroom were spectacular. The patio furniture is so comfortable. The dark skies were a thrill for us and it didn’t disappoint at Stardust. We enjoyed the campfire each night as well. We stayed for three nights and explored Big Bend National Park. The reason for a four star for the room is the bed is very low (platform style) and may be difficult for some to get out of…I didn’t realize this when I booked and we had our elderly father with us. I just wanted others to be aware. But the comfort of the bed was fine.

We were very impressed with the A‑frame structure of the place — it immediately set the tone for a unique and peaceful Big Bend experience. The design feels intentional and welcoming, blending modern comfort with that rugged desert simplicity that fits the landscape so well. The owners were incredibly helpful and communicative throughout our stay. They let us know as soon as our room was ready, and when we couldn’t book the Cottage for all three nights, they made the transition to the A‑frame seamless. They even allowed us to keep our things in the Cottage while we were out hiking, which made the whole day so much easier. Inside, everything was thoughtfully arranged. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The Stardust accommodation was perfect. Very clean, a great location for hiking in Big Bend, and so peaceful. My husband and I spent three nights there and enjoyed every minute. We especially loved the fire pit, sitting in the Adirondack chairs while stargazing and morning coffee while watching the sun rise! I would definitely recommend this place for couples and families with one or two children.

We stayed in their only container house. While it was small, it was super clean, very very well stocked! The club house was a great place to play some games with friends. We had 4 chairs outside to watch the dark sparkling sky. Best of all, their communication regarding our reservation, where to get the best price for gas…restaurant hours etc was excellent. We didn’t stay in one of the A-frames, but they looked very very nice, with more room. We would highly recommend!

Great place to stay. We spent two nights. The A frames are fantastic. Very close to food and of course big bend. Adding picture of the night the FULL moon did not cooperate with the night sky. This was view of the moon shining in the cabin. Awesome time, thank Stardust!
