The Lion Inn

On the 13 of February, at 10:30 pm, the lady was extremely rude in the front desk, we could not stay in the room, because it smelled like cigarettes, and bed was hard as a rock, and she did not want to give us a refund. When we called later to ask for the manager, the lady said "I am the manager, you got your money back, what do you want!" We will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau

I wish I could leave a negative 5 star review. We booked this place, paid $124 for one night, and expected at least a decent, clean room for the night. What we got was a room that smelled like smoke and mildew. The matress was hard and the blanket and sheet were both stained. When I went to ask the front desk lady if we could change rooms, her response was "we're completely booked." Highly unlikely, considering there were 10 cars in the parking lot at 11pm, but whatever. When I asked for a refund, she got snippy and said they don't give refunds. When your place smells bad, has stained sheets (with proof of pictures) were unwilling to help us, AND you were rude to my wife on the phone, you've just guaranteed our refund. To anyone reading this review, do yourself a favor, and book ANYWHERE e

Room was super clean, everything was in excellent condition, very quiet. My wife loved the pillows. Great location, easy check in. Owner showed us a couple rooms, very helpful! Good value! Cannot find anything that could be improved, stay here you will be satisfied

Positive: Convenient location to the Amp. Clean and inviting room. Negative: Need singe to ICE MACHINE!

The Lion Inn reminds me of a 60s motor inn and i don't mean that in a bad way It was clean and updated in a kind of a retro way We were next to the ice machine would be my only complaint Walking distance to downtown is a bonus We have stayed in many chain motels that didnt come close to here Front desk was cordial and friendly
