The Lake House - Premiere Wedding Venue

As a wedding photographer who has worked at The Lake House in Ludington, I can confidently say it’s one of the most beautiful and well-run wedding venues in the area. It gives you the perfect lakefront feel while also having an elegant touch to things. The yard facing west is perfect for sunset and golden hour photos. I can't recommend this venue enough! We got married at The Lake House in September 2025, and what an absolutely beautiful day it was. This venue exceeded all of our expectations. The team was fantastic to work with, communication was consistent and clear, and pricing and guidelines were upfront and easy to understand with no surprises. The venue is absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully designed with the couple and guests in mind. If you’re looking for an indoor/outdoor, warm, and charming wedding venue, this is it—and the town itself is equally charming. Highly recommend!

We attended our friends wedding and reception at The Lake House. I've never been there before. It was absolutely stunning! There were gorgeous views of the sunset, lake views and the venue itself. On top of that, the staff were kind and took really great care of us. The food was absolutely DELISH! We had a lovely salad with homemade ranch, beef bourguignon, pan roasted potatoes, squash and onions, mac and cheese and wedding cake. The Lake House was an amazing and beautiful venue.

All I can say is WOW! The Lake House Venue was not only beautiful but the staff were amazing to work with. They went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect and we are so happy we were able to work with them. Jean and Jeff are so kind. Their welcoming nature made our guests feel just like family. They responded to all of our questions quickly and offered solutions to our problems. We couldn’t have had a better experience:)

Jeff, Jean, and their crew made sure every aspect of our wedding was covered. Not only are they incredible, so is the venue! All of our guests had nothing but good things to say about the picturesque location. I also loved that I could do my wedding, cocktail hour, reception, and pictures all in one place. I would definitely recommend The Lake House!
