The Inn at Southport

The property was delightful and has all of the necessities you would need. Perfect for a girlfriend’s weekend! The beds slept well and the linens were first class. Yes, the room was small, but we had 2 queen beds, plenty of space for our luggage and a small table with two chairs - plus the mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Big plus was several restaurants were a short walk away. Oh, worth mentioning was a coffee shop with pastries directly across the street! Try Locals restaurant just a couple of blocks away for a nice full breakfast at very affordable prices! Would definitely recommend this nicely refreshed motel for your stay in village like Southport!

If I could give 10/5 stars I would. I already know I will be coming back. Booked this on a whim to take a little solo road trip and I had the best time. The staff are SO thoughtful and think of everything. There was even a diffuser and sound machine in the room. There are games, cute swinging chairs, and bikes accessible to guests, and they light a fire at night. It’s even walking distance from all shops and restaurants on the water. My car never left its parking spot. Please stay here!

The Inn at Southport is ideally located to enjoy all that Southport has to offer. In our case, the weather was just perfect for the Winterfest activities, and we walked everywhere during our 3-day visit. The manager contacted us each day to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean, and perfectly equipped for our stay. And, it was budget-friendly without feeling like it. We'll be back for sure.

This was a very nice inn to stay at! From the communications, to the cleanliness, and the bed was very comfortable! They even left suggestions on where to eat, brought fresh linens, and always answered me within 5 minutes! It exceeded my expectations which are high! We would definitely stay with them the next time we are in SouthPort😊

A little farther from beach than I hoped, if you don't want to get in the water and just go down by the old houses and shore/pier/Southport, it's perfect. Parking is a little tight and if I had brought the dually here it would have been bad news. They even have bikes that you can borrow on a first come basis. Shower was in real rough condition otherwise room was outstanding despite being a little small. Lots of good follow up from owner/manager on making sure we got checked in and if anything needed. Lots of good information in the room and on the web. Overall I rated a 5 because I would come back again.
