Woodside RV & Trailer Park

While the office girl was quite nice, the short-term rental policy is not! They cater to out-of-state power workers because no one apparently knows how to do commercial electric in North Carolina? So nice to have to bear a portion of the insurance brunt for having an ocean on one side, but the residents don't get to stay at their own home beach?

A very nice RV park. Very quite.Has some permanent setups. The owners are very nice.A good family place. No pool or wifi but just depends on want you need. We had full hookup. No cable but we did pick up about 12 channels on our antenna.Good location, five miles from beaches and two miles from Southport. Dollar Tree and Walmart can be walked to.

We had difficulty finding a place to stay in or near Southport North Carolina because of the influx of workers on the Duke Energy plant. We found a place in Shalotte, but not for the full length of our visit. ||Woodside RV park was able to fit us in for our last two nights in Southport. They offered us a full hook ups spot either in the driveway next to their office out at their storage business about a mile away. Management seemed very kind and accommodating. We did not use any of their facilities so I cannot comment on those. We did have a slight problem with the electrical hook up out at the storage locker area, but it was a nice place for just a two night stay, safe and private.

I enjoy visiting here as much as possible. Most of the renters are very friendly and follow the rules. The only issue I encountered was a couple of young guys who left their barking dogs outside, day and night. Everyone else seemed to follow rules of common courtesy, overall I would definitely recommend this place.

I love this place and the owners that run this beautiful park are great people. The location is perfect. | The park is always well maintained and full of wonderful people. I've made several new friends over the last seven years. |The location is perfect to anything you want to do in the Southport, Oak Island area .
