We stayed at The Industrialist Hotel while visiting family in Pittsburgh. The downtown location is excellent, and the lobby is truly beautiful. Valet service was attentive, and both check-in and check-out were effortless. Although the room was clean, it was smaller than anticipated and lacked the elevated feel we expected. Overall, the stay was pleasant but did not quite meet our expectations. We will explore other accommodations on our next visit.

Positive: The front desk staff was great and the entry lobby was beautiful on the ground floor. Negative: The bed and pillows were really uncomfortable, the bedding was not cozy (the "duvet" was a 1/2" thick polyester thing with no warmth or weight) and there were no blankets in the room. I feel like the hotel was all style and no substance for the price.

Valet service was extremely disappointing. When I dropped off my car, the attendant was polite and told me I would receive a text instead of a ticket. Twenty minutes later, no text. I returned to the valet stand and waited another 15 minutes, no one there. I eventually found the valet attendant at the front desk eating a meal with a receptionist. I understand breaks are necessary, but the station should be monitored. He sent the text immediately once I found him. When I requested my car (before packing my bags to save time), I later discovered it had been parked on the street, literally around the corner. For a $10 tip, the valet walked me to it. I had to unpark it myself, squeezed tightly between two vehicles. No problem but not what I expected for $60 parking fee and a tip. If you hav

First, the positives. This is a beautiful building and the staff was great. Now, the issues. We stayed on the 6th floor, and it was definitely too close to the street level. All night long all we could hear were people arguing and screaming. That said this hotel is right on the bus line and people were coming and going all night long. The rooms are incredibly small and the tile work in the shower is in need of re-grouting. The location is convenient, but for the price of this place I expected much better. Lastly, hire more valets. People from our group waited 20+ minutes to get their car from a garage that is literally across the street. Think twice about staying here and if you do stay on the highest floor available.

As Autograph hotels go, this one was on the weaker side, tho overall fine. The room was pretty small; updated, but feel a little cheap. The room temperature wouldn't go over 68 no matter what I did (it was 20 degrees out), there's a serious draft in the shower due to a ~2 inch gap in the door to wall which could be mitigated with a door seal. There's not a ton of soundproofing in the building so you hear others, and as a Marriott Gold member, I wasn't asked about late checkout nor any potential for a room upgrade (not that I necessarily expected it, but it's a pretty common thing for me at Marriott stays). Personaly I don't care, but usually at these hotels the staff is overly helpful and appreciative which does add to the experience. The front entrance was also beautiful but super cold a
