The Hastings Inn - NE

I just stayed two nights and couldn't have been happier with my stay. For the price and service I was very impressed. No issues with bugs or cleanliness at all compared to older reviews. The lady at the front desk was very polite and friendly, while doing other duties there and having an injured shoulder. Felt like genuine people trying their best, and that should be appreciated when most lower cost hotels don't care as much. No issues with noise, the TV worked perfectly and room/bed were very clean. The parking lot needs work but that is a minor complaint that I am sure will be addressed. The management genuinely cares and it showed. Give Nimbus(dog) lots of love for me. Although the hotel is older and could use some renovation, we were really comfortable. Room was clean and smelled fresh. I did place a request for a smoke free room due to an allergy. Staff was very friendly. Overall we chose this hotel for location to the fairgrounds. The price was great and we would definitely stay there again !

Marty is a amazing person a kind hearted Adult with things on lock at the motel. From what it was to what it is now is in my eyes amazing!! Loved everything about it. Only asking thing was how far it was in town lol Would stay again and again if I had to!! Give this place another chance!

This place was amazing, I was in a bad spot when I came here not only did they make sure I had a clean warm room to stay in but they went above and beyond, by making sure I got to my next spot safely. If your looking for real people with real understanding this is the place five stars all around

Rooms were comfortable and clean.A little outdated,but they're doing renovations and updating. Staff were extremely friendly. Had an issue with TV remote,but they fixed it right away. I'd love to see the place after they're done updating everything. Only real complaint is the parking lot is tore up a bit. I guess the plow guy they hired tore it up in the last storm. No bugs. Not sure what these other yahoos are talking about. Nice and quiet at night. I like how personal the place is. It's not fancy, but you don't go to Kmart to buy Louie. Keep it up guys.
