Comfort Inn Hastings

Very cold weather but our room was warm, very clean and the bed was so comfortable it felt like home. Staff were helpful and friendly. We will choose this hotel on our next trip to Nebraska.

$92 per night in the middle of the Nebraska State Fair and high school softball is a good deal. I decided to book here and drive to Grand Island while visiting for the fair. ||After a pleasant check in, I entered my room, and things went downhill fast. The bed was clean thankfully, unfortunately that was about all that was clean. Upon inspection of the bathroom area (see photos below) I found that there was a huge stain in the bathtub, water and soap around the area of the drain (as if housekeeping overlooked the shower went cleaning), a dirty toilet, and there was a strange residue found in the sink. ||During the night, I was awoke to a mysterious noise that sounded like a distant smoke alarm was going off. I've stayed in several Comfort Inns in the past. The front desk was very friendly, the room was nicely made up when requested. My lower score is because the cleaning products left a very strong unpleasant scent - it is throughout the hallway and room, the bathtub was dangerously slippery, and our ceiling was coming apart in the room.

The room was good size. Beds were great as was the comforter. Breakfast was good. The clerk at the front desk was super nice. Thank you.

Staff was friendly, room is very clean and decor has been refurbished. Comfortable stay but a little bit more pricey than some of the other comfort Inns I stayed in big cities near Hastings.
