Super 8 by Wyndham Hastings

Reserved a room for one night as a stop on a trip but needed to cancel when the trip changed. The man working the phones when I called was extremely rude and entirely unhelpful. Remarks made towards me were very unkind. Extremely glad I cancelled and will not be staying here if this is truly how the staff treats people.

Positive: The quick check in and check out. Negative: The breakfast was terrible. Also the house keepers kept knocking on my door at 8:30 and 9:30 and woke me up twice. I paid a $--- for a Super 8 which was way overpriced usually Super 8's are around ---- dollars..

Feels a little outdated with the carpet style in the rooms, but nothing worth complaining about that severely affected my stay. Easy recommend for people on a budget.

Honestly, I love this hotel. Whether is small n cozy, nice family vacation, or even a romantic get away this hotel has all that to offer. The city of Hastings in awesome, koolaide was invented here. So definitely recommend this hotel

Bottom floor smelled like cleaning chemicals. Our room was up stairs. Once you hit the top floor the smell of mold also hits you. Bathroom had mold in cracks and crevices also alot behind the toilet it looks like they couldn't reach when they painted over the other mold. They really need to fix the problem instead of trying to cover it up. It seemed as though the people that ran it lived there. They had small kids you would think they wouldn't want them breathing that all in. Definite not recommended
