The Griffin Country Lodge

This has been a great find. The location is amazing being right across the street from the shuttle to the slopes. Rooms are clean and comfortable and it was among the more affordable options for a busy holiday week. The only thing I’d recommend to the owners would be larger water hog mats for the entry as ski gear does tend to be a bit mucky. Otherwise the beds and couch have been comfortable, the kitchen has higher end appliances like an air fryer and pot brew or k cup machine, and an instant pot type thing. Our dogs have been thrilled to hike daily at the very close by Wiesner Woods. Would definitely come back.

My wife and I booked a stay here over the summer through VRBO. Unit 1 was nice enough. The bathroom was super outdated, but the rest of the unit was nice. Hot water was an issue, and took minutes for the shower to come to temperature, but we dealt with it. It's dog friendly and affordable, so we attempted to book another stay for the winter directly through their website. We booked a stay, funds were transfer from our card, but no confirmation. This began a week ordeal to have someone confirm our reservation. The owner Nick Lizotte was unresponsive. He fielded perhaps one call out of dozens and many text messages. We finally received an email back when we were threatening to cancel. We cancelled as we could have no faith in their customer service should their be any further issue

The property was dusty and dirty. Couch was stained, food in the coffee pot, cobwebs etc… The shower drain was clogged and the hot water was marginal at best. The musty smell was terribly off putting. We only stayed one night and found alternate lodging. Vacasa has been horrible to deal with. Would not recommend staying here.

Very disappointing. The bathroom sink was clogged and the hot water was intermittent, so every shower was partially cold. Vacasa promised each day that someone would come to fix the problems and I was there for 3 days but no one ever came. I would not recommend this condo or booking anything through Vacasa.

The outside needs some attention but the inside is better. No air conditioning during the summer so be prepared on hot days.
