Butler House Stowe

February ski vacation; wonderful, quaint room 9 in the Butler House. A spacious downstairs room with good lighting, a small convenient kitchen, facing Main Street and directly across from the beautiful white church in Stowe. A marked and given parking spot was safe and convenient for our car. Convenient location between Stowe and Sugarbush Mountain ski resorts. Expect customers coming in through the outside hallway to the back restaurant late mornings and early evenings - serves a delicious and highly rated dinner and breakfast - not a bother at all.

This was such a convenient and quaint stay. I loved every second of it.|It’s right next to Black Cap Coffee and walking distance of restaurants and Shaw’s General Store.|There’s a restaurant, Butler’s Pantry, right at the front of the building. They serve breakfast and dinner. I went for breakfast, I got French toast and sausage and it was delicious. The service was great.|I stayed in Zoe’s Loft. I didn’t really hear any noise from the kitchen, like other reviews stated, but I could hear the church bells. The room was clean, there’s a kitchenette and a bathroom. You also have a designated parking spot. |If you’re staying in Stowe, consider staying here.

This stay is in the heart of the town, surrounded by many restaurants and coffee shops. Loved my stay here!

My wife and I spent a night there, absolutely beautiful and cozy room, there’s not much to do but enjoy the magic of this town specially on Christmas dates. Loved and would come back if we have a chance. Free parking at the back with your room name. Room is well equipped despite its small size

The location is excellent, literally in the heart of Stowe downtown. It's near every store and situated in front of Starbucks and Black Cap Coffee. We rented the Murphy Studio for two days. It is essentially a whole house segmented into rooms, much like an Airbnb. The mattress in our room was terrible; it literally gave me back pain. Do not expect a quiet stay in this house. They have a restaurant downstairs, and you will hear everything from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The banging and kids screaming made it impossible to sleep. I met the owner, who seemed nice. We also tried the restaurant for breakfast since they offer a 20% discount if you eat there. The food was pretty good; I ordered the French toast and a pancake, and both were delicious. The service was excellent and quick.
