Hobble Inn Vacation Rental

This was our first stay at a B&B, we weren't sure what to expect but Mary is a fantastic host and the entire experience was great. When we arrived Mary was just going out to dinner so she left us a lovely note with instructions. Every detail is made to make you feel at home. The room was cosy and clean, the bathroom was private and it even had a Japanese toilet! The breakfast was a definite highlight - first of all, the food was delicious: homemade yogurt, muffins, blueberry pancakes, fresh orange juice - everything was delicious. Secondly, the conversation with Mary was very nice and interesting, we loved getting to know her and her recommendations. This place is highly recommended for anyone traveling through Vermont. The Hobble Inn was the perfect home-away-from-home for our recent ski vacation. The Loft is beautifully designed and decorated, letting the historic charm of the building show through while providing a comfortable and relaxing space. Mary’s superb hospitality immediately made us feel welcome and at home, and we enjoyed learning about the town and the ski resort from a local perspective. The inn is centrally located in Stowe, less than 15 minutes drive to the ski resort, and Mary's tips helped us find all the best nearby attractions. Her family military history and her service to the military community truly make this a special place. Thank you Mary for all that you do!

My partner and I recently stayed at the Hobble Inn during a long-weekend trip to Stowe. Not only was the inn adorable and cozy (also immaculately clean), but Mary was as wonderful a host as one could hope for. She is warm, welcoming, and just a lovely woman all around. She also grew up in Stowe, so she was able to offer us great recommendations alongside some entertaining-town lore! Mary really does make you feel like you're at a home away from home, with delicious breakfasts to boot. We will certainly be returning!

Spotlessly clean, ideal location in Stowe (quiet street within walking distance to coffee shop, shopping), the Hobble Inn is the perfect Stowe getaway! Love that our host, Mary, was so responsive from start to our departure. She takes great effort to ensure a comfortable stay. The beautifully renovated loft, designed and decorated with Vermont art/furniture provides all the comforts of home. Open concept floor plan with complete kitchen, small dining area, and inviting living room/small desk area. WIFI also available. Best part was a sumptuous bed/linen at the end of the day. ||Completely exceeded our expectations--wonderful find! ||||We are especially grateful for Mary's generosity in honoring military families. Your kindness and graciousness is unsurpassed.

Everything was as quintessential as you would want it to be. We stayed in the loft. Perfect location, perfect decor, homey feeling, and a perfect size for a couples getaway. Mary was amazingly accommodating. We will definitely stay again.
