We stayed here for a ski trip from Sunday to Thursday. The room itself was nice and comfortable, and the location is great for skiing. However, our experience was significantly affected by noise from the connecting room. There is a door between the rooms, and the guests next door were extremely loud—partying and talking late into the night for several nights. We came to ski and planned to wake up early, but it was very difficult to get proper rest. For a stay that cost around $2,000 for just three nights (hotel and services) no food or beverages were included, we expected a much quieter environment, especially during the weekday and not even on a weekend. There were many families and kids around, which was not an issue for us. However, the overall service felt fairly average. The front d
A great family destination with long ski runs and a solid mix of challenging and approachable terrain for intermediate skiers. It’s a true big-mountain experience where the whole family can comfortably ski together. The amenities are excellent: an ice-skating rink, good restaurants and bars, well-stocked retail shops for winter apparel and ski gear, a large outdoor heated pool, two hot tubs, a very nice spa, and a spacious fitness center. I’ve been to over a dozen ski resorts in the Northeast, and there’s only one other place I’d recommend over Spruce Peak Lodge. The ski-in/ski-out proximity alone makes it worth the stay, with the amenities rounding out the experience.
Exceptional The Lodge at Spruce Peak As a World of Hyatt Globalist member, I have stayed at Hyatt properties all over the world, and I want to recognize an outstanding experience at The Lodge at Spruce Peak, a Destination by Hyatt property. Due to an unexpected and very stressful situation with a local Airbnb in Stowe, VT, my family and I were effectively stranded on my girls birthday. I contacted Hyatt’s phone sales team and explained that I had just stayed at the Lodge the prior week and was seeking assistance. From that point forward, the experience exemplified exactly what Hyatt hospitality is meant to be. Diana a Manager, was exceptional professional, kind, calm, and genuinely empathetic. She was able to secure accommodations for my family on short notice and completely transform
Overall very disappointed with the quality and value of our stay here. Customer service across the board was lacking. For a property claiming 4 stars and charging as much as they do for rooms, the customer service needs a lot of improvement. We waited an hour past our promised check-in time for our room to be ready, and then we waiting another hour and our bags were never delivered. I had to go down to the valet myself and get my bags to take them to my room. There was nowhere to sit while we were waiting for our room, as the main lobby was so packed full of people. There was no offer for a complimentary beverage or a reserved seating area for incoming guests. Food options are limited and honestly not very good. You expect to pay a premium at a ski lodge like this but the quality di
I arrived today at the Spuce Peak and my experience had been horrible . I checked in with my two girlfriends and my dog . I was told a one bedroom suite which is about $1700 a night was big enough for all of us . The size of the closet is so small we couldn’t hang all our clothes and coats . My dog had a bigger closet . The room was so cluttered and small we couldn’t hang barely walk around . The balcony was beautiful thou . When I complained to the manager no one came to assist us. She told us they can bring extra hangers . Extra hangers and where are we hanging our stuff ??? I had to finally go to front desk and once again she assured me housekeeping would bring extra hangers . What a joke . For the price you pay to stay here don’t waste your money on a suite . It’s oner priced and no sp
