The Garrett Inn

Very warm and cozy rooms. The decor was very rustic, perfect for the area. Room and bathroom was exceptionally clean! Amy was great to work with. Great prices and convenient to the lake, restaurants and downtown Oakland. We will absolutely book here again.

Highly Recommend! What a wonderful, clean and pleasant place to stay. This place is very charming and the owners were so pleasant and helpful. The room was decorated so nicely . There was traffic noise and you can hear your neighbors enough to know people are next door but it wasn't awful. They do have a quiet down time at a reasonable hour and everyone seemed to be respectful of that. This does not at all change our mind about returning. We had an absolutely positive experience here and were able to watch the sun set from our room window which was a plus. They had benches outside the rooms as well as chairs and picnic tables available for their guests to enjoy. We look forward to returning again in the future! This place is a hidden gem. Staff is so kind and accommodating. Decorations are a lovely touch and each room is uniquely decorated. Easy access and clean as a pin. Will be back, enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Very clean. Comfortable beds. Extremely nice people. Great location. Negative: The only complaint is that the toilet didn't flush well.

We have stayed here many times over the pasr few decades. I love how it is always the same, year after year. There is no place like The Garrett Inn! Amazingly clean, nicely decorated, and such friendly (and hard-working) innkeepers. Very welcoming and charming. Super comfy beds, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, nice furniture with a table and two chairs. We love staying here and will be back soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
