Riverside Suites

Rooms are nice and upgraded. You have to remember it is a small motel so expect to be able to hear the people around you. But everything was great for staying overnight.

I chose this hotel because there were very few options in the Oakland, MD area, and there was a restaurant close by. It's a recently built or renovated motel with a bit of Wild West theme. The property is very nice. There was no on-site staff after 5pm, but there is a contact number and lock boxes that allow access for later check-in. The restaurant was under renovation when I stayed, but the restaurant website made no mention of being closed, which was disappointing because that's a big reason this motel was chosen. Once the restaurant is reopened, this place will be even better.

The room was super clean , smelled a lil like it needed air circulation but that is only thing I have negative to say. We got there late, the key was in lock box and easy peasy to use. Also, the bed was so comfortable I wish I had it at home.

So I wound up in a blizzard headed from Virginia to West Virginia. I found a very nice place to stay to finally get out of the storm. I have traveled alot and I have to say this is one of the best mom and pop places I have had the opportunity to visit.

Holly,Jessica and all the staff here is awesome, first time staying here for 4th of July and definitely having a great time. Has a pretty modern look, love the red and black with a restaurant/bar right next to it, walking distance, would recommend calling before incase you are running late like I was just incase. All the rooms have a names on the door of famous cowboys etc. made me do a Google search and read about them!
