Clean and quiet. An easy walk to the diner. The electric door lock worked great and was easy to use. Folks were friendly for check in and any time we had questions.

Clean but had a musty smell. A dehumidifier was provided already and once we turned that on along with the ac, the smell disappeared. |Everything else was clean. |The beds sort of wobbled when you moved around on them. |Either way, the hotel was clean and quiet so everything else was a minor issue. |Well worth the stay and the money to support a small motel.

What a great room! Such attention to details. Not just one bar of soap and one shampoo but a little basket of multiples. The "night light" was an LED tree which matched the tree theme in the room. The refrigerator was larger than you get in most hotels and had a microwave. The Keurig included hot chocolate which I had never seen in other hotels. The room was clean and the staff very pleasant. Made our stay enjoyable while in Oakland, Maryland.

Came a little late to check in… maybe around 6 or 7 pm. No one at the front desk. There was a number to call and they gave us a number for a key pad on the front door of the room. They also own the hotel down the road with the diner. So, i think they are there if you need anything? Luckily I am pretty self sufficient and didn’t need anything. House keeping must come around at some point during the day but I was not at the motel. In the morning on check out day, no one was at the front desk either. The room was clean, and had fairly modern updates for being an older motel. No breakfast or coffee since no one is ever at the front desk. But there is a kitchen sinky area with coffee maker, microwave, and fridge in the room.

This was my go to place near Swallow Falls for a few years but I’m not sure if ownership has changed but it’s not what it once was.|I booked last minute and got there and the desk was closed and you had to call somewhere else. It took a few tries but I did get someone on the phone and check in was no problem.|This place used to have fun themed rooms like a room with deer theming, one with cars, Wild West, etc but the room we got was very worn down. |Not until my child was already settled in bed(tired after a long day) did I notice blood stains on the chair but at this point it was after 9 and I didn’t want to wake my child up to move.|There was no evidence that beds had been used and not cleaned so maybe the stain has been there a while but I would think most people wouldn’t want to stay i
