I will own that we made a last min reservation via trip advisor after we were told they were fully booked when i called directly. So usually last min reservations are sometimes "meh" but the occasion was super important so we took what we could. With that said, the name associated with the hotel would make me think that even a lower end room would have been a level up as Salvatore's usually reflects an upper tier experience. For a smoking room (we do not smoke) it wasnt bad no smoky smell. Lighting was ok especially when the lightbulb in the lamp was crooked, electrical outlets were the charging mechanism which was ok if you had a long enough cord. Happens when you update an older building. Heater mesh was very dusty. Bed was awful!!! The springs were very obvious and loud when you

Positive: It was reasonably priced. The young lady at the desk was very nice, and did her best to accommodate some issues we had. Negative: We missed the breakfast buffet they used to have. Our room didn’t have a hair dryer, but one was supplied when we asked. There was only one wash cloth, even though our room had two beds. In general, some things need refreshing and updating.

We've stayed here a number of times over the years that I've lived in Buffalo and the quality has dipped in that time. The hotel is very dated by the decor. We talked some another couple and they told us to be careful as someone opened their door in the middle of the night. Said they asked for a new room because it. For the price it fit our needs as a night away from the kids and pets, but other than that it was less than. They no longer have a free breakfast in the morning, you have to pay for it. They have a microwave in the hallway instead of them in the room. The refrigerator was just one in the floor. The bed get like it didn't have a pillow top. The pillows were fine at first, but lose their firmness over the night. Jacuzzi was nice. The TV had streaming options, but no opti

Five Stars for Construction Enthusiasm If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to stay inside a renovation project, this hotel delivers a truly immersive experience. Upon arrival, I learned the restaurant was closed for remodeling. Apparently dining is more of a seasonal amenity. Good to know. My first room featured a refrigerator that served primarily as a suggestion. It did not refrigerate, but it looked confident doing it. After the first night, the real excitement began: the hallway flooring project. With no warning, construction started, and when I needed to gather my belongings to move rooms, I had the privilege of walking through wet mortar to get there. Nothing says “hospitality” like feeling personally involved in the tile installation. Room number two came with its own minimalist

This hotel has seen better days. Ive stayed here a a handful of times over the last 20 years. The building and original decor is still there and beautiful however the rest of the hotel is pretty run down. I stayed a few days before valentines day 2026 and from what I was told the hotel is under new management and is in the middle of a remodel which seemed accurate given the missing moldings and some fresh paint but they have quite a ways to go....they have older furniture in the rooms, Peeling wallpaper, stained carpet, broken ceilings/walls, the refrigerator had broken/missing pieces on the interior and the electrical in the room was shotty, it was possibly having surges because the lights where unstable. The security door didn't work at all and because of this they remained unlocked. The
